BAKLAVA
Baklava is a beautiful pastry with light, flaky layers of crust and a sweet filling, kissed with a honey syrup. This delicious pastry is made on every corner of every region in Greece. Baklava is made with paperthin sheets of phyllo. The dough is layered on the bottom, two layers in the middle and a top layer. Phyllo is alternated with the nut filling to form multiple layers. These ingredients will take your taste buds on a journey through several layers of delight from the delicate phyllo dough with savory butter and nut mixture with a hint of salt finishing with the lemony honey married to cinnamon.
BRITTLE
A holiday favorite, brittle is a great gift and it can be easily sent by us to everyone on your list. Another benefit is that you can take it to a party and pass it off as your own. Yiayia doesn’t mind, as long as people are happy and enjoying the food it’s all good. We have taken all the key ingredients in our baklava (cinnamon, clove, lemon, butter, almonds, walnuts, honey, allspice & vanilla) and made an incredible brittle. If you like brittle you’re going to love our Baklava Brittle.
FINIKIA
Delicious ! One of our favorites, dusted in fine ground walnut. They’re not overly sweet and the hints of cinnamon, clove and orange really come through in the honey they’ve been soaked in. These traditional Greek holiday cookies are one of the reasons our Dad married our Mom. Thank you Yiayia! 10-12 Large Cookies per box
